Paris is one of the most beautiful and photogenic cities in the world. As an American expat living in London, it has allowed me to visit this incredible city many times, and I’ve even successfully done a day trip to Paris from London via Eurostar! Taking a sunrise stroll near the Louvre, marveling at the tourist-free Hotel de la Marine, or enjoying an idyllic Parisian cafe are never just moments, but insanely picturesque moments. You’ll find many more of these moments, and over sixty, to be exact, in this post. I’ve included not only Paris’s popular tourist spots, but restaurants, hidden side streets, and the most instagrammable places in Disneyland Paris. Eiffel Tower Gardens
Let’s face it, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most instagrammable places in France! The gardens surrounding the Iron Lady have some of the best places to enjoy every angle of her. Pick up some sandwiches and a bottle of wine and have a picnic. If you’re visiting for Bastille Day, which is essentially the Independence Day in France, like America’s Fourth of July, you’ll need to get here early to get a spot on the lawn. I highly recommend it, it’s the best fireworks display I’ve ever seen!

2 Rue de l’Universite
The view of the Eiffel Tower from this street is probably my favorite. You will need to arrive early to avoid the crowds. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful, and it’s not far from the famous Café de Flore!
3 Av. de Camoens
This is another one of the most instagrammable places in Paris. You see this spot all over social media, especially with the backdrop of autumn foliage.
4 L’Howea
After wandering around the Eiffel Tower, head down the street Av. Rapp that leads to the floral shop L’Howea. On this road, you’ll find a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Make sure to stop and have lunch at Restaurant Linette. This restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace and great food!
5 Sq. Rapp
This is another popular spot for incredible Eiffel Tower views. It is a bit of a hidden gem and less popular amongst tourists.
6 Port Debilly
If you want a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower with the stunning River Seine in the foreground, head to Port Debilly.
Here’s a popular one-hour leisurely trip down the Seine!
7 Le Recrutement on Rue Saint-Dominique
This next spot is a favorite amongst tourists and one of the most instagrammable places in Paris. You can find this location at the intersection of Rue Saint-Dominique and Boulevard de La Tour Maubourg. You’ll also find the lovely Le Recrutement Cafe that provides the perfect backdrop with its Parisian red awnings and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

1st Arrondissement near the Louvre, Quartier du Louvre
8 The Louvre Museum
When you plan your trip, it’s a given you’ll include the Louvre (or you can contact me as I work as a travel advisor and can plan your entire trip for you!). If you want to visit the museum to snap some photos, visit in the morning because, being one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, it draws large crowds. Sunrise here is simply magical, and I recommend visiting during this time. If you want to visit the museum, make sure to book your Louvre visit in advance. The Louvre is a huge museum, and you can easily spend an entire day trying to see it all. The highlights for me include the Mona Lisa (visit early to avoid a long line), Napoleon’s apartments, the Apollo Gallery, and the Cour Puget.
The Louvre is my favorite museum in the world, and my second favorite museum is actually in my hometown, Boston. Here’s the perfect Boston itinerary, or contact me for help planning your next trip!
9 Tuileries Garden
After enjoying the Louvre, take a break in the Tuileries Gardens. Don’t miss the ponds in this garden, which usually have plenty of chairs surrounding them to sit and relax. I love watching the swans, you can usually find them here!

10 Colonnes de Buren/Les Deux Plateaux
Colonnes de Buren/Les Deux Plateaux is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, and I’m sure you’ve seen it at least once on social media. This area is where you’ll find the art installation with black and white striped sculptures in this lovely square.
11 Musee de l’Orangerie
If you’re a fan of Monet, you’ll definitely want to visit this next museum. You’ll find Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings here, but the most famous are Monet’s giant, curved paintings that engulf you into his world is like nothing I’ve ever seen. You can find this spot near the Tuileries Garden. This is another one of my favorite museums in the world and one of the prettiest spots in Paris!

12 Hotel de la Marine
Hotel de la Marine is one of the city’s hidden gems that’s sometimes not on everyone’s Paris itinerary, but should be. Even though this museum used to be a hidden gem, it’s making a name for itself on social media because of its famous mini halls of mirrors. There are two rooms here with mirrors and stunning decor similar to the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles. Can you believe this beautiful building was created just to house the furnishings of the royal palaces? When royalty fell after the French Revolution, this building was the residence for the Ministry of the French Navy and remained so until recently, in 2015. If you look closely, you can even see the nautical theme continued throughout this incredible museum. One of my favorite areas of this museum is the balcony that looks out onto the Place de la Concorde.
2nd Arrondissement, Grands Boulevards
13 Galerie Vivienne
Built in 1823, this covered shopping area is one of the many in Paris. You can wander into an idyllic bookshop, enjoy a coffee, or even admire the mosaic tiles or glass roof.
3rd Arrondissement, Le Marais
14 National Archives Museum – Hotel de Soubise
This museum is another one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, and has a similar vibe to Hotel de la Marine. This museum is free to enter!
15 Carnavalet Museum
If you’ve seen enough museums, I know I’ve included a lot- you only need to visit this next spot for its outdoor space. This is one of the most hidden Instagram spots in Paris. The courtyard cafe and gardens are beautiful, perfect for a sunny day. My husband and I loved wandering in here and avoiding the crowds in Le Marais. They even have the cutest museum shop! Make sure to check their cafe hours before you visit. The hours change, and they may only be open during the summer months.
4th Arrondissement, Le Marais
16 Notre Dame
Who doesn’t want to see Notre Dame when visiting Paris?! This, of course, makes the list as one of the most instagrammable places in Paris with its famous, immense church bells, and exquisite French Gothic architecture. If you can believe the cathedral began construction in 1163, and even the recent massive fire in the last few years still hasn’t destroyed one of Paris’s icons. If you want some beautiful photos of this cathedral, head to the bridge Petit Pont – Cardinal Lustiger.

17 Cour et Jardin de l’Hotel de Sully
One of the best parts about this next spot is that it’s free to visit! If you’re wandering around Le Marais, which is one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Paris, make sure to take a quick stop in this courtyard.
18 Les bouquinistes de la Seine
Don’t wander down the River Seine without stopping at one of these used bookshops. You won’t only find books here but comics and the most beautiful Parisian prints. They make for the perfect photo opportunity and are some of the most instagrammable places in Paris!
5th Arrondissement, The Latin Quarter
19 Shakespeare and Company
You’ll find this next bookshop all over Instagram. You can find the most beautiful cherry blossom trees in bloom in the spring right in front of the shop.
20 The Grand Mosque of Paris
If you’re visiting Paris in the spring, this is easily one of the most instagrammable places in Paris in April and May. During these months, you can find wisteria blooming in this mosque, and the contrast of purple and teal hues is simply stunning.
If you’re looking for other wisteria locations, you can find incredible wisteria in America in Boston and New England, and of course London and the United Kingdom!
21 Odette
Even though this is a pastry shop, it sure is one of the cutest corners in Paris!
22 College des Bernardins
Even though this next stop may have been a college or university at one time, it recently underwent a renovation in 2008 and is now owned by the city of Paris and open to the public. Admission is free, and you’ll find a cafe under its cathedral-like architecture. You can find the entrance down the alley/street just off Rue des Ecoles.
23 The Pantheon
If you’re a fan of the Italian influence, this structure looks similar to the architecture you’ll find in Rome. Make sure to book tickets to access the dome since it offers panoramic views of Paris. This ticket is usually only available from April 1st to October 31st.

6th Arrondissement
24 Cafe de Flore
This cafe is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, as well as one of the most Instagrammable cafes too! What I love about this cafe is not only the iconic cafe front but also how large the outdoor terrace is. During a walk one early morning to visit the Louvre early we stopped on our way and it was so peaceful to enjoy breakfast with the other early risers and just sit and enjoy the view before the city was waking up for the day.
If you’re looking for other ideas for your next trip, here’s the only Paris itinerary you’ll need! As a travel advisor, I can also plan your entire trip for you. Email me via the contact page!

25 Jardin du Luxembourg
One of the most beautiful gardens in Paris is the Jardin du Luxembourg. When my husband and I were in Paris in July a few summers ago, visiting for Bastille Day, we had the loveliest time here. We found a few chairs, sat, and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. We watched children play with toy boats in the fountain, similar to the Tuileries Garden, and just loved the intimacy of this space. This garden usually has seasonal flowers in bloom, and in the autumn, the fall foliage here is stunning. If you visit this garden, don’t miss the Medici Fountain. You’ll usually find a painter here re-creating this beautiful landscape on their canvas.
7th Arrondissement
26 Musee Rodin
I’m not going to lie, this next museum gives me some Italian vibes, maybe because it’s a sculpture museum? Even though I haven’t been to this museum, it’s been on my list for quite a while. The artist whom the museum is named after, Auguste Rodin, actually left all his works and possessions to the French state. The museum initially opened to the public in 1919, a few years after his death, and has been open ever since.
If you’re looking for more Italian inspiration, read all about how to visit Rome, Venice, or Florence!
27 Musee d’Orsay
It took me a few trips to Paris to finally make it to this museum, and I’m so glad I did. I can confirm it’s one of the most instagrammable places in Paris! If you can believe this museum used to be a train station! You’ll recognize this museum from its famous clock window. I’m assuming these famous clocks were added to the facade when the original train station was built, but I’m so glad they’ve stayed after all these years. It is a beautiful view to look out and see the rest of Paris. If we want to talk a bit more about the museum, this museum is huge, and it’s one of the largest art museums in Europe. It houses some incredibly famous pieces of art, including quite a few pieces from Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh, including his famous ‘Starry Night’.
28 Pont Alexandre III
This next bridge is a Parisian icon. It was originally commissioned for the 1900 World Fair as well as the stunning Grand Palais you can spot on the north side of the river.

8th Arrondissement, Champs-Elysees
29 Petit Palais
Speaking of Grand Palais, the Petit Palais is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris. Even though this used to be one of the most hidden Instagram spots in Paris, I see it frequently now on social media. The best part about the Petit Palais is that it’s entirely free to visit. They have a lovely outdoor cafe and courtyard.
30 Arc de Triomphe
Another Parisian icon is the Arc de Triomphe. I will say I’ve been to Paris quite a few times and have maybe visited the Arc de Triomphe once. It’s a bit removed from the rest of the city unless you’re staying in the 8th or 16th arrondissement.
Located in the 16th arrondissement, this is one of the best hotels in Paris with views of the Eiffel Tower! This is also another beautiful hotel in the same area that’s a bit more budget-friendly. If you need help finding your next accommodations in Paris, email me via the contact page!
31 La Galerie Dior
Even though this next spot is again another museum, you would think it’s an elevated shopping experience. The museum calls it a ‘scenographic narrative,’ and if this is your vibe, I would say the low entrance fee is worth it to visit this incredibly photogenic spot!

32 Le 12 Hotel
This next spot is one of the best hotels in Paris. If you’re looking for hotels with Eiffel Tower views that won’t break the bank, this is it. It’s also in a great location in the 8th arrondissement, close to Gare Saint-Lazare. When you book, make sure you’re booking the right room type, as not all the rooms at this hotel offer a balcony view of the Iron Lady.
If you need help with your booking, feel free to email me via the contact page, as I work as a travel advisor and can help you plan your trip!
33 Hotel de la Paiva
If you can believe it, Hotel de la Paiva was once a private residence for the rich and famous. It was said the Countess who lived here threw famous, erotic parties- it is Paris after all! Its library is making a name for itself as one of the most instagrammable places in Paris. Keep in mind, you can only book a tour through Billetreduc.com.
9th Arrondissement
34 The Palais Garnier
If you don’t get an opportunity to see an opera in this beautiful building, you can take a guided tour!
Here’s a private tour that will take you through the areas of this opera house that aren’t normally accessible to visitors!

35 Rooftop of Galeries Lafayette
One of the most instagrammable places in Paris is the rooftop of this busy shopping center. The rooftop is completely free to visit, and has a few restaurants and bars to sit and enjoy the views.
12th Arrondissement
36 Rue Cremieux
If you’re wondering what the most photogenic street in Paris is, it’s Rue Cremieux. Rue Cremieux makes the list with its colorful houses and cobblestone street. You can even find wisteria blooming in April and May. It, of course, is considered one ot the most instagrammable places in Paris.

16th Arrondissement
37 Saint James Paris
The 16th arrondissement is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You’ll find plenty of five-star hotels here, including the beautiful Saint James Paris. Even if you’re not staying as a guest, book in for lunch or dinner in their romantic courtyard. Hotel Plaza Athenee is also close by and has the beautiful, Parisian-red awnings.
If you’re looking for luxury, this is the best area to stay in Paris. Here are some of my other recommendations for the best hotels in Paris.
18th arrondissement, Montmartre
38 Abbesses Train station
Montmartre is one of my favorite areas in Paris, and has plenty of instagrammable places in Paris. Even just wandering its neighborhoods can be picture perfect. Make sure to take a wander next to this train station, its art deco design is such a vibe.
39 Fotoautomat
Everyone loves a good vintage photobooth, you’ll find a popular one in Florence, Italy, too! This one is located off a quieter street where cars aren’t allowed to park, so it makes for a good photo op.

40 Carrousel de Saint-Pierre
This spot is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, not just for the vintage carousel but the Basilica of Sacre Coeur in the background. Make sure to get here early if you want to avoid the crowds.
41 Rue de l’Abreuvoir
This street is one of the most beautiful streets in Montmartre. You’ve probably seen it all over social media. The street ends with the pink restaurant La Maison Rose. This is one of the oldest and most historic streets in Paris, and is worth a visit.

42 Moulin Rouge
I’ll save the iconic Moulin Rouge in Montmartre for last! This is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, and the most iconic! You can see a famous cabaret show at the Moulin Rouge; see the options below.
Here’s an option for tickets to see a show at the Moulin Rouge with a side of champagne. The best option, however, would be to book tickets for dinner and a show!
Instagrammable Cafes in Paris
43 Angelina Paris
Angelina’s has one of Paris’s most famous tea rooms, but you will usually have to wait for a table since they do not take reservations. The only way you wouldn’t have to wait is arriving before they open, but their original location at 226 Rue de Rivoli, which opened in 1903, is their most popular location. They now have locations around the world. If you’re visiting Paris and walk by, it’s worth trying to walk into their shop, which you shouldn’t have to wait to get into unless it’s very busy.
44 Le Café Marly
This next location is very close to the Louvre and is one of the most instagrammable cafes in Paris. Sit outside and enjoy views of the Louvre, there’s even a better view if you go upstairs! Make sure to try the Pavlova.

Most Instagrammable Restaurants in Paris
45 Le Train Bleu
Even though this is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris, the food is delicious! This restaurant is a work of art; make sure to admire the artwork on the ceilings and the walls. Book a reservation for lunch or dinner here. We even saw plenty of people with luggage who were just enjoying a drink in their lounge area, I mean, it is in a train station after all, hence the name!
46 Café Lapérouse Concorde
I love the decor at this next spot, and believe it was featured in Emily in Paris. Their food here is also quite good, the burger was delicious!
47 Chez Eugene
This goes on the list for one of the most instagrammable places in Paris for its red awnings and location on the cutest square in Montmartre. Even when I was wandering around here early one morning, there were a few older men already enjoying their coffee for the day and smoking.

48 Le Consulat
This is another adorable corner of Montmartre, and it’s not far from Chez Eugene.
Secret photography spots in Paris
What is the most photogenic street in Paris?
The most photogenic streets in Paris are Rue de l’Université because of its views of the Eiffel Tower, Rue de l’Abreuvoir as one of the oldest and most historic streets in Paris, and Rue Cremieux for its colorful facades and cobblestone road.

Most Instagrammable places in Disneyland Paris
49 Disneyland Hotel
This five-star luxury Disney hotel was recently renovated and reopened to the public in 2025. This hotel is located right at the entrance to Disneyland Paris. Make sure to wander around Fantasia Gardens for the best views of the hotel in the distance.
When my husband and I visited Disneyland Paris, we stayed in a Disney hotel, and I highly recommend you do! If you’re only spending a night or two, it really helps maximize your time at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park to make the most of your trip!
50 Disney Newport Bay Club
This next Disney hotel is completely nautical themed! This hotel’s location isn’t right at the entrance to the parks like the Disneyland Hotel is, but it’s less than a ten-minute walk and probably the next closest hotel. My husband and I stayed here during our time visiting the parks. Here’s our Paris Disneyland itinerary and everything you need to know before visiting!
51 Main Street USA
You can’t enter the Disneyland Park without walking down Main Street USA. I loved admiring the beautiful architecture and facades, which are almost identical to the Florida location! Make sure to explore all the hidden corners; some of the buildings really are so beautiful.
52 Fantasia Gardens
Make sure to wander around these gardens during the day, but it might be hard to do so before entering the park if you’re arriving early. The views from the pink gazebo with the Disneyland Hotel in the foreground are stunning!

53 Cinderella’s Castle
Even though I’ve visited Cinderella’s Castle in Florida, I think the one here in Disneyland Paris is a bit more intricate, even if it’s slightly smaller. I loved the Parisian topiaries surrounding it as well, very on trend. Make sure to go inside the castle and walk around. You can even go up to the second floor and explore the balcony! There’s also a hidden cave with a dragon. See if you can find him!

54 L’Auberge de Cendrillon
You’ll need a lot of perseverance and luck to dine inside Cinderella’s Castle or at L’Auberge de Cendrillon. My husband managed to get a reservation here to celebrate my birthday, and it’s just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. This restaurant also frequently has characters that do ‘meet and greets’ with the guests. Just during my short time there, I met Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, and even Jasmine!

55 Au Chalet de la Marionnette
Everything in Fantasyland is so charming, but this food hall is especially fairytale-like. They have a lovely outdoor seating area, and the prettiest blooms when we visited in July.
56 Captain Jack’s Restaurant
I wish I had spotted this restaurant sooner because I think it would have been so cool to even just have a drink here. This restaurant is hidden, and you might not notice it at first. It carries the same theme from the Pirates of the Caribbean, and you can actually watch people on the Disney ride!
57 Bistrot Chez Remy
This restaurant is absolutely adorable! If you’ve seen the movie Ratatouille, you’ll understand why all the furniture is giant-sized!
58 Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
Even though this ride is meant for the littles, it’s fun for adults too! It’s also one of the most colorful rides at Disneyland Paris. Remember how I was saying everything in Fantasyland is just so charming?
59 Liberty Arcade and Discovery Arcade
Tucked behind both sides of Main Street USA are these vintage-like arcades. When leaving the park in the evening you might find them, or if you’re doing some shopping during the day. The Liberty Arcade’s themed posters display New York and the Statue of Liberty and the Discovery Arcade are all about the inventors of the 19th century.

60 Alice’s Curious Labyrinth
Finding yourself through this maze will make you feel like you’ve entered the world of Alice in Wonderland! With so many bright colors and characters from the movie sprinkled throughout, there’s also a balcony you can climb for a complete view of the maze.
61 Kingdom of Arendelle coming 2026!
Make sure to plan your Disneyland Paris trip for 2026 when it unveils its newest addition to the park the Kingdom of Arendelle. This area will be based on the movie ‘Frozen’, I can’t wait to go back to experience it! All I can picture is Hallstatt but even more magical!
