Disneyland Paris offers Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, similar to its sister location in Florida. When making a Disneyland Paris plan, it’s important to know the opening times of the parks. You can maximize your day and see what both parks offer if you time your day right. My husband and I even planned an entire itinerary down to the hour, and this helped us immensely! I would also recommend spending a night in one of the Disney resorts so you have a full day to explore each of the parks. I’ll share information on which one you should choose and why, this made our stay even better than we could have imagined! Keep reading for the opening times of Disneyland Paris and how to completely maximize your stay at one of the most magical places on earth!
Opening times Disneyland Paris: How early can you enter the parks
Here’s the question you’ve all been waiting for: how early can you enter the Disneyland Paris parks?! The opening times Disneyland Paris can vary during the year or because of seasonal events. In general, Disneyland Paris is open from 9:30 am to 10 pm, with Walt Disney Studios usually closing an hour earlier than Disneyland every night. There are occasional evenings throughout the year reserved for annual pass holders only, and the parks may close by 8 pm.
Getting from Paris to Disneyland Paris
How to take the train from Paris to Disneyland Paris
If you want to take a day trip to Disneyland from Paris, you’ll need to wake up early if you want to be there when the park opens. There are early trains that run from Paris to Disneyland Paris, and it’s usually less than an hour’s ride. If you’re taking the train, take the RER A EST to Zone 5 Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy. The Disneyland stop is near the park entrance, so you won’t need to walk far to enter. There’s a Starbucks and a McDonald’s that open early if you want to get breakfast before entering the park. If you’re checking into a hotel or B&B hotel in Disneyland Paris, allow yourself extra time to drop your luggage off.
If you’re looking for all the best things to see and do in Paris, here’s everything you need to know on how to visit this beautiful city.
How to take Eurostar to Disneyland Paris
When making a Disneyland Paris plan, did you know you can even visit Disneyland from London?! Create your Disneyland Paris plan using Eurostar. Eurostar offers trains from London St. Pancras International to Disneyland Paris. The quickest train you can book between London and Disneyland Paris is around three hours. If you can’t travel directly from London to Disneyland Paris, you can take a Eurostar train from London to Lille which will take around ninety minutes. You’ll then have to change trains at Lille and onto a local TGV train. Similar to train journeys from Paris, this will take around an hour from Lille to Disneyland Paris.

How can you enter the Disneyland Paris parks early?
The best way to enter the Disneyland Paris parks early is by staying at a Disney hotel. Disneyland hotel guests are always allowed to enter Disneyland Paris or Walt Disney Studios one hour before general admission. I can say from experience this is a game-changer for any Disneyland Paris plan. My husband and I researched all the rides and attractions the parks had to offer before we visited and made a game plan based on that. Because we planned an itinerary based on what rides or attractions we wanted to see, we rode and saw everything we wanted before 9:30 am. 9:30 is when Disneyland opens for general admission, and when everyone will be queuing for their favorite and most popular rides you will have already done them!
Take advantage of Magic Hour
Want to know some pro tips?! Even though we only spent one night at a Disneyland Paris hotel, we got in for Magic Hour both the morning before check-in and our check-out day. We also saw staff letting guests in a little for Magic Hour before 8:30 am. If you want to be the first one at the park, make sure you’re there even earlier than the posted entry time for that day!
Download this essential Disneyland Paris app!
Before you arrive, download the official Disneyland Paris mobile app. This app is incredible. With this app, you can check into your Disney hotel, book restaurants, and shows, click and collect from counter services, and manage your Disney premier access. The best part about the app and what is essential for your Disneyland Paris plan is up-to-date queue times! This app will tell you any time of the day the current queue time for a ride or attraction. This can help you have the best time at Disneyland Paris!
Price for Disneyland Paris tickets
When searching for opening times Disneyland Paris, I’m sure the next question is the cost of tickets. For a general idea, you can expect to pay between 100-150 USD per ticket per person. This however can vary based on a few things. These things include the season, how many days you’ll be going to Disneyland Paris if you want to include a visit to Walt Disney Studios, and of course the exchange rate.
If you plan to spend a few days in Disneyland Paris, buy a ‘dated ticket.’ You can buy a dated ticket for 1-4 days. If you plan to spend more than a day at the parks, buy a dated ticket for multiple days. This will give you a discount when purchasing!

Best Places to Stay Disneyland Paris
The best places to stay in Disneyland Paris are the Disney hotels. All their hotels have free shuttles, so you don’t have to worry about transportation. The Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Newport Bay Club will be the best Disneyland Paris hotel because it’s one of the few within walking distance from the parks.
Disneyland Hotel $$$$: This hotel celebrated its grand re-opening at the beginning of 2024. This is the most luxurious resort to stay when traveling to Disneyland Paris. The hotel is right next to the park entrance!
Newport Bay Club $$$: Another hotel that’s not a far walk from the entrance of Disneyland Paris is the Newport Bay Club. My husband and I stayed here and very much enjoyed it. The hotel is dressed head to toe with a nautical theme including Mickey Mouse of course. It also has two large swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and multiple restaurants to choose from.
Disney Hotel New York $$-$$$: If you’re looking for other Disney hotel options they’re included here, here, and here.

Opening Times Disneyland Paris Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Spend the day at Disneyland Park
Enjoy the most popular rides during ‘Magic Hour’
If you’re going to enter the parks early and enjoy Magic Hour, this will be an early day. You can leave that morning from Paris, or do a day trip to Disneyland Paris from Paris. We left Paris around 6:30 am and still managed to check into our hotel and make it to the park when it opened at 8:30 am for magic hour. The opening times Disneyland Paris for magic hour are different for Disneyland than Walt Disney Studios, so confirm the times before you visit.
Head to the popular Discoveryland
During the Magic Hour, you’ll want to ride the most popular rides, and of course, the rides or attractions on your ‘must-do’ list. We entered the park at the beginning of Magic Hour at 8:30 am, and within an hour when the park opened at 9:30 am.
Before 9:30 am we rode Discoveryland’s Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, and Buzz Lightyear Blast. After heading first to Discoveryland we were also able to manage to ride the popular Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland. This was all before 9:30 am when the park opened for general admission because the wait times were so short during magic hour!
The fourth big thrill coaster after Hyperspace Mountain, Star Tours, and Big Thunder Mountain is the Indiana Jones Temple of Peril. Because this is one of the ‘big thrills’ it is a popular coaster. You can try and ride this during Magic Hour, we managed to ride it just as the park was opening and the lines weren’t long. We preferred Big Thunder Mountain far more and would recommend this instead to ride during Magic Hour!
Other attractions to see in Discoveryland: Meet Darth Vader!
Other attractions in Discoveryland include the Star Traders shop, Nautilus, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic. There is also usually a character meet and greet including one with Darth Vader in Discoveryland, and were able to find these opening times on the Disneyland Paris app. For the meet and greet with Darth Vader we had a few minutes alone with the character and even paid the $10 or so for the professional photograph they took of us. It is a nice keepsake from your trip to Disneyland Paris!
Continue to Adventureland
Before lunch, continue to Adventureland. Make sure to find Aladdin’s Enchanted Passage (not a ride but a short walk-through ‘attraction’ that is surprisingly pretty), walk through Adventure Isle and waterfall, and ride the most underrated ride in Disneyland!
My husband and I loved The Pirates of the Caribbean! This ride is so underrated and different from the ride in Florida. There’s also an incredible restaurant called Captain Jack’s that looks out over the water and the ride itself. I wish we had time to eat here, but check it out when setting your itinerary and researching opening times Disneyland Paris!

Have lunch before the rush
Plan to have lunch around 11:30 am before the lunch rush. A few recommendations include barbeque at Cowboy Cookout, African at Hakuna Matata, or Bavarian food at Au Chalet de la Marionnette. All these restaurants offer fast food, and I highly recommend the Chalet in Fantasyland. The food was delicious!
The Chaley in Fantasyland is one of the most instagrammable places in Paris. If you also need more information on how to plan your next trip, here’s the perfect Paris itinerary.

Visit Fantasyland after lunch: Find the Dragon’s lair!
One of the best and most unique parts of Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris is Sleeping Beauty’s castle and the hidden dragon lair. You can explore the castle, and wander up to the balcony for incredible views of the castle and Fantasyland! The dragon lair can be a little hard to find. Look for ‘La Tanière du Dragon’ on the Disneyland Paris map!
Other rides or attractions in Fantasyland include both Snow White and Pinocchio rides. These rides are geared for littles. If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris in 2026, stay tuned for the opening of Arendelle and the World of Frozen!
Enjoy the Lion King show at Frontierland
One of the best things to do in Disneyland Paris is see a show! The Lion King show is always such a good option. When researching opening times Disneyland Paris you’ll need to book tickets ahead of time. They usually sell out and sometimes also sell out a few days before the show.

See a Disneyland Parade!
Disneyland Paris usually offers an afternoon and evening parade. You can find the times for these on the Disneyland Paris app.
Insider tip: A little tip for your afternoon at Disneyland Paris: wait times for rides right after the parades can be shorter! This is because the crowds will be heading to the parade and not waiting in line. If you missed any rides during Magic Hour that still show long waiting times on the app, try to ride or visit them during this time!
Don’t miss the evening show!
The Disneyland Paris evening show happens every evening and is always the best show of the day. You will need to get there around an hour early to get a prime seat.

Disneyland Paris Restaurants
Dine like a Princess in the Castle
One of the best Disneyland Paris restaurants is Auberge de Cendrillon. This restaurant is actually inside the Princess Castle. If you’re lucky, you might be joined by a few Disney Princesses! When we visited we got to meet Ariel, Cinderella, and Jasmine! You will need reservations! (Again, you can do that on the Disneyland Paris app.)
The best waterfront dining
Captain Jack’s located in Adventureland is such a unique waterfront dining experience. You can watch others enjoying the end of their Pirates of the Caribbean ride while dining.
Disneyland Paris Shop
There are plenty of shops in Disneyland Paris, many along Main Street, USA. You can find additional shops on the Disneyland Paris app.

Day 2: Spend the day at Walt Disney Studio Park
Ride the most popular Crush’s Coaster
During Magic Hour, make sure to ride Crush’s Coaster. This is the best coaster in Walt Disney Studio Park and always has long wait times. Other popular rides and attractions include Ratatouille the Adventure, Avengers Assemble Flight Force, and Spider-Man Web Adventure. Since Ratatouille is closer to Crush’s, I recommend going there next since the line can get long.
A few tips about the most popular rides in Studio Park is that the Avengers coaster is quite intense and Spider-Man is very similar to the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland Paris.
See a Walt Disney Studio Show
The shows at this park aren’t as popular as the ones at Disneyland Paris. You may or may not even need tickets for some of the shows. If you don’t need tickets you will want to arrive early to get a spot as they only allow so many guests in.
Enjoy dinner at Bistro Chez Remy
This restaurant is a popular reservation, but we managed and enjoyed our time here. The food was good, and the restaurant is so cute!
